Four Winds Gallery
Josef has been well received in folk art circles and has exhibited his work in a variety of upstanding venues. Included on this list is the University College of Cape Breton, The Barn - at the Normaway Inn, The Whitney Pier Historical Society, and various other museums and commercial galleries.
Josef spends the winter months in his native Whitney Pier but once spring sets in he can undoubedly be found in the Lake-O-Law region of the Margarees. Here he is the "artist in residence" at the Four Winds Gallery, where one may view his work, and purchase pieces of interest, to add or to start a collection.

Working mostly in Cape Breton pine, Josef has gained widespread
popularity among folk art fanciers.
His lifelong passion for the arts has culminated in his wood carving. Although most of his pieces are unique and spontaneous, he has on occasion, accepted commissions to complete works with particular themes or persons in mind.
